Overwatch Betting

Overwatch is the blend of two classic genres such as First-person Shooter (FPS) and MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena). The matches are played between two teams, each team consists of six players. One team is known as the attacking team while another team is known as the defending team, when a round ends, the teams switch sides. The team will win the match, round, or map by accomplishing one or two objectives, depending on which round is played. The game comes with several maps and each has a set of objectives.

Overwatch Game Modes

Escort

In Escort, players must escort a moving objective to the end of a predetermined path. Attackers must stand on the payload to move it, and defenders can stand around the payload to block it. Popular Escort maps include Watchpoint: Gibraltar, Havana, and Route 66. There are typically 2 checkpoints before the end of the map.

Assault

In Assault, there are again attacking and defending teams. Teams have short time limit to capture two objectives, called points. Similar to payload, Attackers must remain on the point to make progress, and Defenders can block progress by doing the same. After 2 points, the map resets and sides swap. The team that captures the most points by the end of the game wins. Popular Assault maps include Volskaya Industries, Horizon: Lunar Colony, and Temple of Anubis

Hybrid

Hybrid is a combined game mode featuring both Escort and Assault. Teams must capture a first point before then escorting the payload through the map. It is essentially as if the first checkpoint on an escort map were made an Assault point. Popular Hybrid maps include Hollywood, Kings Row, and Numbani.

King of the Hill

Overwatch also features a spin on the classic Quake game mode, King of the Hill. Instead of attacking and defending, both teams start attacking for control of the same point. Points are gained by controlling the point. Once you have the point, you then go onto defense, trying to keep your opponents from capturing it. Popular King of the Hill maps include Busan, Lijiang Tower, and Ilios.
